Common questions about
screener surveys.

What question types are supported in the built-in screener?
The built-in screener supports five question types: Multiple choice, Single choice, Short Answer, Single choice grid, and Multiple choice grid. Each question can be marked as required, and you can organise questions into sections.
How does Generate with AI work?
Click Generate with AI on the screener page, and our AI will create screening questions based on your study objectives. You can edit, reorder, add, or remove any question after generation — it gives you a head start, not a locked form.
What is skip logic?
Skip logic lets you route participants through different question paths based on their answers. For example, if a participant selects 'No' on question 1, you can skip them to question 5 or end the screener. This keeps forms short and relevant for every respondent.
Can I use Typeform or SurveyMonkey instead of the built-in screener?
Yes. On the Screener tab of your study, you can connect Typeform or SurveyMonkey directly. Responses sync into your participant management automatically — no exports, no copy-paste.
What if I use a different survey tool?
Select 'Other' on the External Survey tab and paste your survey URL. Participants will be redirected to your form, and you can track who has completed it from the Participants Management tab.
How do I review screener responses?
Go to Participants Management in your study. Click any participant to see their full screener response — name, email, contact number, and every answer displayed inline. You can approve, reject, or mark them as potential directly from the panel.
Can I edit the screener after publishing?
Yes. Use the Disable Edit / Enable Edit toggle at the top of the screener. When editing is enabled, you can modify questions, add new ones, change skip logic, and update the description. Already-collected responses are preserved.
What formatting options are available for the screener description?
The description field supports rich text editing — headings, bold, italic, underline, ordered lists, unordered lists, links, and clear formatting. You can create detailed study descriptions with incentive details, eligibility criteria, and instructions.
